Val di Mello

The Val di Mello is a valley in the province of Sondrio near the Masino valley, known to most for the MelloBlocco event dedicated to climbing and since 2009 the Val di Mello nature reserve has been recognized, consisting of three distinct areas going so far to be born the largest protected area in the region.

In the valley there are numerous paths including the so-called “Roma path” which starts and ends in the adjacent valleys that connects the headland of the secondary valleys with one of the most beautiful routes in the entire Alpine arc.

In Val di Mello it is easy to reach a pure pond born from a landslide some time ago.
